So, this was definitely a banner year as far as my participation in TU goes. I'd like to take a second here on the board to thank the committee members, the sponsors, the volunteers, the nurses, the captains, the players, the spectators, and anyone else who may have had a hand in the event. I've been to 5 incarnations of the event, sometimes as a spectator, sometimes as a volunteer, and sometimes just for a few minutes to say hello and goodbye, but this is the first time I've been really happy with my level of participation.
A lot of people stopped by the main tent to say hello to Darran and myself, and even those who didn't stop but strolled or danced by singing the lyrics to the whatever was playing at the time made me feel like I was doing something right. I mean it. Thank you. If you made a request and I didn't at least play something in the same category, come find me in the states. I'll buy you a drink. And if I played or said something you thought was terrible, well, thanks for granting me a little leeway. Metro Station is just catchy as all hell.
Apologies to anyone standing near the speakers at the 10 (or

, 5, 2, or 1 minute marks.
