The Taj Ultimate Ghoul Pool

Anyone ever feel the evil urge to bet on the survival potential of his/her fellow humans? I say, let's embrace that pessimism. Place your bets!

The Rules:

1. On a first come-first served basis, players pick a celebrity from any field of human endeavor (arts, sciences, social circles) EXCEPT politics.

2. The player whose selected celebrity dies FIRST is the winner.

3. Players have "dibs" on their selected celebrities for the next round, but can choose to change if they want.

It's that morbid, classless, and simple.

Prizes will include a slight sense of guilt, complete recognition of death's inevitability, and drinks on the losers.

Zeroth pick - Ernest Borgnine

cause we all know those suckers days are numbered. ;) also.. we don't want to get in trouble should one of them say, "die of unnatural causes". ;)

On account of the high potential for picking leaders in assassination-prone government situations.

Oh! And:

4. Players aren't allowed to kill any of the selected celebrities, even if permitted by law (e.g. in war, as a result of legal procedures, in a fair duel). Doing so removes the player from the pool.

I pick Abe Vigoda. At least that way I'll be sure I know if I won.

Well, now that Luke has killed Charlton Heston, is the contest open again? I will nominate Billy Graham.

Fully open. Anyone who has already chosen a target has dibs on that person for the next round, but should they opt to pick someone new, the celeb is fair game.

I'm sticking with Ernie.

 I didn`t expect that someone would actually win this. Yikes.

For round 2 I`ll go with JD Salinger, since Ariel Sharon is a politician and thus off limits.

I think Ariel Sharon should be exempted from the "no politician" rule since he is in a coma anyway and I doubt anyone sees any value in assasinating him at this point.
